Types of Printers

Different types of printers perform different functions better or worse than others. Again it comes down to expense, and unnecessary expense is best avoided. Please answer the following questions to best allow me to advise you on the right printer for you (the cheapest is not always the best or the most cost-effective option).

Photographs	Colour printer, the type depends on how many and the desired quality; best quality comes from a photo printer; next quality comes from laser printer then ink jet.

Letters / very short documents (<5 pages)	Ink jet printer, black and white or colour Black and White Laser
Medium or large spreadsheets (small print or multiple pages)	Black and white laser printer or good quality ink jet
